Wow. What a spring we have had. We cannot begin to thank you all enough for your patience + support as we navigate COVID-19. Lacquer Gallery salon locations and esthetic services at The Gold Room Tattoo will be reopening on May 15th. This EXCLUDES body tattooing and cosmetic tattooing at our sister studio The Gold Room Tattoo and massage therapy at Lacquer Harrison West. As soon as we are greenlit to provide those services, we will let you know! We are confident in our abilities to serve you in a clean + positive environment when you walk back through our doors!

What you can expect from us…
 

  • Think our normal Lacquer high standards of cleanliness x 10. We will be spending additional time prior to opening/after closing to deep clean. Common spaces + items will be cleaned + sanitized frequently throughout the day. Each employee will have access to sanitizing wipes/spray + hand sanitizer at their stations. The disinfectant we use is hospital grade.

 

  • All employees will be evaluated prior to the workday with verbal check-ins and temperature checks. Employees will be wearing masks at all times. You can expect barriers in between work stations and atop nail desks, and estheticians will be wearing masks and/or face shields during your services.

 

  • We will not be offering any specials for the foreseeable future, including but not limited to Lacquer Lounge, monthly specials, Spray Tan Thursdays, and Treat Yourself Wednesdays. Our staff has been out of work for over 2 months and many have unfortunately not received any additional funds from Unemployment or their stimulus checks. We do not want to punish them further and aim to set them up for success by not immediately discounting any of their services. We are using the money we would normally set aside for discounted services to procure PPE and supplies for our clients + staff.

 

  • Your comfort and safety is of the utmost importance to us. You can expect to see a lot of care + new procedures put into place in our salons, but you can also expect your same cheery + upbeat girl gang. We are excited to take care of you! We have invested in…

    • Stand-alone EMV readers -- when paying with a credit or debit card, you will have full control of your card in the machine and will not have to hand it over to the receptionist.

    • Masks if you are unable to bring one to use yourself.

    • Hand sanitizer accessible at every station and in all common areas

 

  • For our clients who are high risk, we are offering our Concierge Services, normally double the cost, at our standard price. These services will be performed outside of our normal operating hours with your service provider. Please contact our receptionists at your preferred location to schedule!

    What we expect from you…
     

  • Every client of Lacquer Gallery + The Gold Room Tattoo will be expected to arrive to their appointment with a mask and to keep the mask on unless otherwise instructed by your service provider to access an area of your face/head for your service. 
     

  • We will be enforcing our “no children” policy firmly, to protect your family and our staff + other guests. Children are not allowed inside the salon unless receiving a service with a parent or guardian. 
     

  • We will not be allowing any “plus ones” -- we cannot accommodate anyone waiting inside the salon/tattoo shop without having an appointment. Due to spacing issues, we do request that after your service is completed + paid for, you move any conversations + visiting to outside the salon to make room for our other guests.
     

  • You must arrive on-time to your appointments to ensure a smooth order of operations for cleanliness + distancing. Arriving late can result in your appointment being cancelled + rescheduled for a different date. Please also arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your appointment. Should you arrive early to your appointment and our lobby seating is at capacity, you may check in with our reception staff + wait for your appointment in your vehicle. Please have your phone on you with the ringer on so that our staff can reach you immediately when your provider is ready for you. 
     

  • Complimentary snacks and drinks will still be available; however, they will NOT be self-serve. Our receptionists or service providers would be happy to grab you anything you need -- please just let us know! 
     

  • We understand that for some, paying in cash is their only option. We will still be taking cash at this time; however, we STRONGLY encourage the use of digital payment if that is an option for you.

    Please ask yourself the following questions prior to booking an appointment and/or coming into the salon. 

  • Do you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath or any other symptoms related to COVID-19?

  • Have you been living with, or do you currently live with anyone that has shown symptoms in the last 14 days? 

        By scheduling an appointment and coming in to the salon to be serviced, you are acknowledging that none of the above apply to you.

    We know this is a lot of information -- thanks for sticking with us! We are completely confident in re-opening on this date; however, if you are more comfortable staying home for now, you can still access our online booking for future dates! You might notice that some of our staff are coming back in waves, throughout the end of May and at the beginning of June.
